What YInstagram does not ask visitors to provide
The public downloader pages do not require visitors to create a YInstagram user account, share an Instagram password, submit a one-time verification code, upload private files or disclose payment card information in order to open supported public links.
- No Instagram username and password prompt for public visitors.
- No requirement to provide two-factor codes or session cookies to use the public site.
- No private file locker or private cloud storage for user-owned media.
- No routine request for government ID, financial records or other high-risk personal information.

Public-content limitation and access boundaries
YInstagram is intended to work only with content that is publicly available or publicly accessible when a supported URL is processed. The service is not presented as a means to defeat access controls, inspect hidden resources or extract private-profile material.
If the originating platform changes access conditions, restricts a URL, removes public availability or invalidates a media link, YInstagram may stop displaying the affected content or may refresh the page with whatever public information remains available.

Data minimization and operational safeguards
YInstagram is designed to minimize data handling and avoid collecting unnecessary user credentials. The public site focuses on page rendering, metadata indexing and lightweight operational state rather than user account storage.
- Public metadata may be retained to support stable page rendering, creator pages, tag pages and search discovery.
- Browser-side storage is used only for limited functional purposes such as theme preference, notice dismissal and abuse throttling.
- Server-side logging, monitoring and error review are used for security and stability.
- Controlled access is maintained for payment, hosting and infrastructure tooling when those systems are used.

Residual records and reporting
Even though the site does not ask for direct account credentials, limited technical records may still be processed as part of normal site operation. This can include access logs, IP address, browser information, analytics events, cookie or storage identifiers and anti-abuse signals.
